Ree Brennin Houston, a species at risk biologist for Fisheries and Oceans shares her story on what fielded her drive towards caring for the Earth and conservation. This led her into a very important period in her life in direct link with The Nation on researching species that are at risk.

Ree worked alongside the Peskotomuhkati Nation, Chief Hugh Akagi and Harry Sappier to study why endangered fish species and how Shortnose Sturgeon was never found on the Skutik (St.Croix) River and why it was so important to the Peskotomuhkati People.
